City of Brookfield Farmers Market

City Of Brookfield Farmers Market

The Brookfield Farmers' Market was created by a group of volunteers who wanted to establish a market for local farm produce in Brookfield. The idea had been a part of the Brookfield Master Plan, and in 1990 , the volunteer group obtained the necessary approvals and permits to make it happen. The Brookfield Civic Center Farmers' Market opened in 1991, with a half dozen farmers and was staffed by Brookfield resident volunteers.

Today after 27 years of operation the market is thriving. It has become not only a place where residents can purchase fresh Wisconsin grown products, but it has also become a Saturday morning meeting place for many of the residents. It is a Saturday morning ritual for Brookfield residents and customers are drawn from many surrounding communities. The market merchants provide quality Wisconsin grown products that are sold at reasonable prices. Many of the farmers have been at the market for well over 10 years. The market continues to grow in size and popularity.

Bodega

The Bodega at Breese Stevens Field

Some of you may be confused as to why The Bodega at Breese Stevens Field looks nothing like a convenience store. We chose the name to represent the incredible variety of goods you will find at our market and the vendors behind them. Our phenomenal lineup of vendors offer anything from unique maple syrup, to handmade jewelry, delicious caramels, unique antiques, fresh micro-greens, one of a kind artwork, and everything in between.

The Bodega is unlike any market you will find in Madison. Our spacious field provides ample room for our vendors, food carts, an interactive children’s area, beer and wine sales, live music, and plenty of yard games for some friendly competition. The Madison Public Library Spoke-n-words (a bicycle powered micro-library!) will be at every 2019 Bodega providing exciting and enriching activities and books for the younger Bodega goers.

The Bodega was created with community in mind. We want to see small local businesses thrive and provide our community a space to shop, relax, and have a good time with friends and family. Coming in to our third season of the Bodega we are excited with the new changes we have made, new vendors we are bringing in, and new faces we hope to see each date!

Hovercraft Milwaukee

Hovercraft Milwaukee

Join us for Hover Craft: A Holiday Shopping Extravaganza showcasing the work of over 100 artists, crafters, makers and designers.

In its 9th season, Hovercraft connects holiday shoppers to one-of-a-kind handmade vendors at the Historic Pritzlaff Building.

Hovercraft is Milwaukee’s premiere holiday shopping marketplace connecting independent artists, crafters, makers, and designers with individuals looking for high-quality and unique handmade gifts. For the third year in a row, Hovercraft will host over 100 vendors at the Historic Pritzlaff Building in Downtown Milwaukee. Hovercraft was created to support the established and emerging creative arts community in Milwaukee by providing a temporary space to connect customers directly with makers. By taking the work offline, shoppers develop relationships with hand-crafted art objects and discover the stories behind the makers to inspire a spirit of connectivity and creativity.

Over the course of nine years, Hovercraft grew from a small, now inoperative venue in Bay View with only 35 vendors to a bustling shopping extravaganza complete with local food, local beers and yes, the Packer game will be on view. The first 100 shoppers through the door also receive a limited edition Hover Craft tote bag.

German Christmas Market of Oconomowoc

German Christmas Market of Oconomowoc

Nestled against the shore of Fowler Lake in the newly expanded Village Green Park lies the promise of something great for you, your family and your friends this Thanksgiving weekend. The German Christmas Market offers the very best of this much-loved event right here in beautiful downtown Oconomowoc. Originally held in Dietzenbach, Germany, the Christmas Market is the perfect place to gather with friends while you enjoy delicious food and treats, shop for handmade gifts and feel transported to a magical holiday wonderland through joyful music and activities.

The Christmas Market is truly a can’t miss outing this holiday season—a shopping and entertainment venue that rivals even those found in Europe. No holiday season is complete without a day (or two) out at the annual German Christmas Market.  This event is a celebration of the hearty German community here in Wisconsin. Whether you are German or not, we promise you will feel like you are. There are warm tents and outdoor Beer Gardens, so weather matters little. We have special guests slated throughout the event and live entertainment from start to finish.
